Steps TO Delete GitHub Account :
1) Login To Your GitHub
The first thing you need to do is to go to www.github.com and log in to your GitHub account then once you successfully login then on the top right corner of the page there you will see a logo click on it.
2)Click On “Setting”
When you click on that icon a dropdown list will appear from that dropdown you need to click on the setting option
3) Click On the “Account” tab.
When you get into the setting option, you will get to another page where you need to click on the account that is located at the left-hand sidebar.
4) “Delete your account”
If you still want to delete your account, enter your password in the “Confirm password” field and click on the “Delete account” button.
5) Click on “cancel plan and delete this account”
Once you click on delete your account, on the next page you need to fill you user name/ email, password and reenter ” delete my account”. Read the information on the page carefully to understand the consequences of deleting your account in detail.
Note that deleting your GitHub account will also delete all the repositories, issues, and data associated with it. Before deleting make sure you have backed up all of your data if important, from your account.
