Step 1- Open imo App: Downloading and installing the imo app from the Play Store is necessary to start using it and this process varies based on the device being used.

Step 2- Enter your own phone number: To sign up for the app, register your valid mobile number to receive an OTP. After logging in, your contacts who use imo will be notified via this number.

Step 3- Confirm your own mobile number and tap ok button: Once you have entered your own mobile number, you will receive a pop-up that asks you to verify the phone number that you’ve entered. It also gives you an option of editing your number. It is possible to double-check the number that has been added and ensure that no mistakes have been made. Once you’re done checking all you have to do is click on “OK”.

Step 4- Enter the verification code which you received on your number: After providing your number, you will receive an SMS with a code. Be quick to enter the code before the timer resends it.

Step 5- Enter your name and tap on “DONE”: Next, enter your full name on the keyboard screen. This will be your username visible to everyone, so ensure it’s correct. Click on “Done” to proceed to the next step.
